St. Dominic pray for me

Today was my interview for my first promises (used to be called vows) for the Lay Dominican St. Catherine of Siena Chapter. I have been waiting for this moment for a long while and cannot wait for December to roll around.

These interviews are really a great reflection for me. Not only to I let them know how being a part of the Dominican Family has a great influence on me, but in turn I learn what they have seen in me with their own observations. One of the major things I have learned within the Dominican family is a great joy in loving the Lord through all trials in my life and the most important apostolic work is those that deal with family.

Speaking about family just a few moments ago I called my Granny and she informed me on the condition of my Great-Uncle, who was sent back to the hospital, they found he has an infection and he is being cared for. I am really at a lost with this, but ask for many prayers for him and the family. Guess I need to find a way up there to the hospital in the few days before I leave for Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Why to Ann Arbor, Michigan? For the great reason that there professions of first and final vows for the Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist (Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist ). I know the Sisters who are going to be professing their first vows. It is so exciting to experience their vows. I know they will be happy to see not only me, but Camille as well.

Anyways, back to today so after my interview, my dear friend and sister in the Lay Dominicans, Emily took me to lunch at a new place called Milestone 229 and what a place. It has a great selection of food, wonderful service and a nice view of the new park that has a water fountains that you can walk through and get wet. It would be fun if I wasn't going to be going anywhere else. :) The prices for this place were actually reasonable and nice servings too. We got a desert and on my word, what a cake. We got a LARGE slice (see below this paragraph) and small jug of milk. Emily and I agree it is for four people to eat, not two. We had left overs of the cake and I had left overs from my pizza.

After lunch Emily and I went to the Saint Joseph's Catholic Bookstore that was going out of business and so there are many good sales. It is sad to see it leave, but sometimes little selection and not much word of mouth maybe the cause for its downfall because I know many still thought the bookstore was in the basement of the Cathedral. I got three Holy Cards and a Navy Military Cross for JR. I wish I had more money cause I would gotten more. So, where did we go next well, Emily wanted me to have an experience of a good book store.

She drove us to German Village to a book store called "The Book Loft" (The Book Loft). It is a bookstore that has thirty-six rooms (for it used to be an actually family home) with nothing, but all types of books. I would really recommend if anyone comes to Columbus, Ohio to please check this place out for not only do they have 5% off the book price (or more for some books), but it is just assorted and there are many odds and ends there too, like journals, bookmarks, puzzles, and games. I wanted to get a few books, but with no money (only what I need for dinner and movie tonight) I was unable to get them.

The books I wanted to purchase was a hard copy (no e-book) of "Just Like Heaven" by Julia Quinn, and then a few books by Georgette Heyer (1902-1974), who I can say sadly I did not know her name, but certainly I want to read her books. I wonder if the library has some of her books. Maybe, but still I would like to read her books and even better I did not know how long ago her books were written.

Well that is all. God Bless.

How long has it been.

I think it has been far too long since my last entry, but there were reasons and just every time I felt the urge to write the entry, I would lose the words and unable to think how to explain what was going on. I mean I started six entries and deleted them all. It was just a difficult time for me, and my family really.

So, question is, what happened in those two months that caused the hiatus with writing? Well, on May 13th was going to his doctor's appointment and the doctor told him to go to the hospital because there should no reason for him to this sick. So that day my uncle was take to the hospital ER.

To put a long story short, my uncle is really bad off his bowel has explored and he was so low in nutrition he bad was shutting down. So, for the past two months he went from SICU to specialty wing to a nursing home. There are many details I am refusing to post on here because I do not have permission from my uncle and since we feel there is a Mal-practice the less amount of information posted online the better.

The worst part of it was watching him go through all this, and watching my great-grandmother cry constantly because she could nothing to be by her son as much as she wanted.

There were conflicts with his "friends" and us the family, which never helped Granny or I emotionally or mentally. I do thank God for helping me through those points of this whole event, because I really do believe I could never do this alone.

A lot of prayers were done and I think my uncle and Granny were glad I was the prayerful family member for I would pray the rosary when he was not conscience and would offer to call one of the priests I know to do the anointing the sick and help the family with prayers.

Though there are many in my family who thought I was believing he was dying, that is not true, that is not the point, but I can say that my uncle might get baptized because he wants to, but is afraid at the same time. I understand and I told him that I will do whatever he wishes, and pray for him. He cries a lot around me because I stick with him and stay all day with him (except today he wanted me to spend the day at the fair and be myself) and never gave up on him.

There were other tragedies in my life, a little two year old that I prayed for passed away July 11th, 2011. Lucas Benjamin Gibney was a little boy who I old met once, but I knew about him after he was born. He has many medical problems and his grandfather (friend of my uncle's) explained to me that the doctors really did not think he would last a year. He stuck around smiling, laughing, and learning to crawl and talk. He went through transplant surgery to only have those organs be rejected and then he got ill.

But, the most interesting thing was the day before they were going to take him off the support, he went on his own. He is now with Jesus and Mary, but what life he lived and I am ever happy to know he was alive and given us a chance to meet this happy boy, I called "Baby Luke". Obituary of Baby Luke's

These past few months I have got to do other things that had a happy note to them. I went hiking with Camille, my best friend and JR, my love and future husband. Camille and I went are own path trail and JR went his way. Camille and I got caught in the down pour rain, but it was worth it, I hiked close to ten miles that whole weekend, which was GREAT!

Another great thing was went to Cincinnati, Ohio to my anniversary with JR. It has been a tradition and I hope that every year we are able to go back. We went to the Hyde Park Blast (it is a block party with a bike race) and then the next day went to Mass at St. Gertrude's (that is where Fr. LaCasse, OP is pastor, he was my pastor at St. Patrick's) and then went to King's Island (which I LOVE riding THE BEAST, I am really my Daddy's girl). The best part of the whole weekend was being with JR.

Fourth of July events were different, because I was unable to go to my hometown fireworks (had to work) and that upset me, but I got to see them from the parking lot of my work. I did go to Red, White, and BOOM with JR, Camille, Sean (Camille's brother), Kiya, Triston, Amber, Jessica, Katelynn, Mom, Aunt Tina, Uncle Terry, and other family members. It was great, but hot as hell.

Speaking of heat, have I ever wrote how much I cannot stand summer heat? Well I do and when I was at the Franklin County Fair I was so unhappy for it was SO HOT! I mean it got up to 96 but felt like 100. I get sick, boy how sick I got afterwards, but I go to the fairs cause they are really one of the few things I would go to in the summer.

What else have I done, well I did finally experience the Summer Film Series by CAPA

Well, that should be it for now, I just wanted to write a summary of what went on. Hopefully I will be more detailed and hopefully I will write more often.

God Bless,
Nikita

Priests Should Marry?

I always seem to have a sore spot for this, because maybe I am a baby Catholic and so I am ever protective of the Church and Christ’s teachings, but I really think even when I am old and grey and sitting on a porch rocking I will still have that regard.
This issue (see title) came up during my break from work and when a person from work said that (well more like said, “I think priests and religious should marry.”), I instantly said, “Absolutely not.” I never like to be rude or mean to anyone and I refuse to give the name of the person who said this, but I know many might wonder why I would say that.

Well, I for one have watched the priests from my parish and all they do and I can just see how it would be so difficult to be a devoted husband and run a parish of over 300 families plus. Society now a days think because so many of them are working families that it would make sense, but remember that a priest have so many things to do for the Church that sometimes I can tell you that many of the priests I know have almost no time for just spending time doing what they would like to do (examples like reading, hiking, going out with friends, and etc.).

I think in a sensible way and common sense priests to not marry would be a good thing for the sake of a spouse and their feelings for many would feel left out and unloved because they are not even spending any time with their husbands.

Common sense out of the way, there is something that Jesus even said that is truly the focal point of my argument, correct me if I am wrong, but Jesus told his disciples if they truly wish to follow him they “must give up everything and take up the cross”. That I think was in the Gospel of Matthew. Think about it Priests and Religious Sisters give up everything to follow Jesus and His Church.

The Priests are representatives of Jesus and His Church, and am I not correct in saying that Jesus himself was not married and innocent (in a sexual sense), did He not give up His family, did He not give up everything for God’s Children. I think that would be a YES, so if the Priests are not just Disciples, but representatives of Christ, should they not try to imitate Christ in His way, by being a celibate and unmarried man. But as I said it is a Call, not all can do this and that is why Jesus tells Peter and the Apostles if they wish to TRULY follow they must give up everything.

Does that mean that I am not truly a disciple of Christ? No, it is a Call, God knows which are called for the priesthood and religious life, those who are not called should know that their vocation in life, if it is a single life or married find ways of devotion to God, through prayers, teaching their children the Truth of Christ’s Church.

The person who made this claim looked at this issue through a few priests, who probably made the mistakes, because priests are HUMAN, they are not Christ who was sinless. We strive to be like Christ, to be sinless in the eyes of God. But, also with the way society is now so sex-centered they cannot seem to see the natural love of devotion to God alone and His Church. Sex is not EVERYTHING, there is more to life than having an sexual relationship, Priests who make that mistake, are just human beings who have tempted and need prayers, not all follow their temptations, for I know I remember a homily by one of the priests I know that said, “There are days where I see a beautiful woman, and say, she is so beautiful, I wish I could date her, but I think about how much I love the Church and wish to follow Christ.”

They have those feelings, but they don’t have to act upon them, I am getting married, correct should I be tempted to stray from my relationship because I find someone attractive, wonderful, and everything I want (which mind you, my fiancĂ© is all that and more!)? No, I am bound to him, and he is bound to me, and we are bound to God and His Church.

I think I went a little far on my rant, but in the end, I wanted to speak out about those who speak about this issue, for I truly believe they allow society to cloud their minds and never truly see beauty of what the priesthood and religious life brings and shows to us who live in sex-centered society.

I know there are going to be people who will go against me on this issue, but truly this is my honest opinion, from observations when I was coming into the Church and now, but also from my own experiences throughout my childhood and teenage years.

Please pray for them, and for the Holy Spirit to intercede for this prayer for TRUTH.

God Bless,

Nikita

Favorite Mystery

During the member talk from the 20s Group we had an “ice-breaker” so that everyone would get to know each other names and help us to know something about one another. The “ice-breaker” for the 20s Group this past Thursday was made by Camille and it was to pick your favorite mystery from the Rosary. For those who are unaware of the Rosary, there are officially fifteen Mysteries, but in 2002 I believe Blessed Pope John Paul II added five more Mysteries, so that makes twenty.
Each of these mysteries are grouped together due their context.

The Glorious Mysteries are: The Resurrection, The Ascension, and The Descent of the Holy Spirit, The Assumption of Our Lady, and The Coronation of Our Lady.

The Joyful Mysteries are: The Annunciation, The Visitation, The Nativity, The Presentation, and the Finding of Jesus in the Temple.

The Sorrowful Mysteries are: The Agony in the Garden, The Scourging, The Crowning of Thorns, The Carrying the Cross, and the Crucifixion.

The Luminous Mysteries (the newly added group of mysteries) are: The Baptism in the Jordan, The Wedding at Cana, The Proclamation of the Kingdom, The Transfiguration, and The Eucharist.

When it came around for me to introduce myself, I did have a difficult time choosing just one mystery because each mystery is important to me and the world in some way. But, when I was thinking upon it, I knew that my favorite mystery was “The Carrying of the Cross”.

I am constantly in deep thought during the Rosary when that mystery comes up, I can only think, “He did this for Me and for all those in the world, so they can be closer to the Father.” But, also I am reminded that I must take upon my cross no matter how difficult and carry it, never to whine that it is too heavy, for Jesus bared the heaviest cross and he did that for mankind, not for himself.

So, for those who read this my blog/journal, what is your favorite mystery? What compels you to think upon it more and more than the rest?

20s Group Member Talk

Holy Hour was cut a little shorter than usual due to the practice for the little ones of the parish to receive First Communion and some were going to through their First Confession. But, I think it really helped with my mediation in front of the Holy Eucharist, during Adoration. This is a piece of what I wrote after finishing my evening prayers.
“Dear Lord,

How nice it is that I have a moment to see You, when I have not been able to for almost four days. Lord, Your little children are practicing and preparing to receive Your Body and Blood, just as You prepared The Apostles during the Last Supper, the First Mass. How beautiful to witness Your little Children as they do this. This is the month of May which means it is a month of showing Your Mother, no way OUR Mother our love to her just as You, Yourself showed love to her.”

The 20s Group meeting consisted with a member talk, by my own Godmother, Camille. Her talked was on the Rosary. This I was really excited about, because Camille was the one who helped me to really understand what the Rosary is, that powerful prayer that was given to us to see the “Gospel through Mary’s eyes”.  There are many out there who find that the Rosary is a way of worshipping Mary, but that is untrue.  “The Rosary is suppose to connect to you,” Camille stated in her talk and explained that she always has envision the Rosary being as if you were sitting at Mary’s feet and she told you the story of Jesus.

Another matter Camille brought up in her talk was intercessions, for many ask why has someone intercede for you to God. I kind of like one thing that I have heard Camille many times say in all the time I have known her, “Jesus will not refuse His Mother anything.” Intercession is really a way of in my opinion (a quite honestly I could be not explaining this correctly) to have more to pray with you on what you are praying for. “Mary, I pray for peace of mind” is an example I will use in this regard and I imagine Our Lady kneeling next to me and praying, “Lord, please give this child peace of mind.” And here is the thing that Camille said in the last part of her talk that helps with what I am trying to put into word, “We give her all of our worries, troubles, and etc. and she gives them all to her Son.”

So many events this past weekend.

It is so true this past weekend has been very eventful for not only me but also to the world. This past Friday was the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton (which on a side note did even ever think that it was funny that Middleton is a family name from a Jane Austen novel). I had the wedding taped because I knew I would be unable to get up and watch the event live.

Well, I got up around 6am-6:30am and went downstairs to watch what was taped (kind of like catch up really), well my uncle, who has been in depression (literally) for the past few weeks decided since it was being tape while he taped two other things he would erase it. I was sort of upset, but I got to see the dress and the kiss, so I am at least happy about that, plus BBCA and Fox News had highlights on every almost four hours the next day.

The dress was beautiful and very traditional, which I must say I LIKED it a lot. It was fit for her, truly and gave back that touch of simplicity and traditional in my opinion. And as I remember hearing from a journalist who was sitting next to the Today Show hosts, that this shows that the monarchy, especially Prince William and Princess Kate (Duke and Duchess of Cambridge) are wanting, to go back to the traditional roots, but keep with mainstream as well.

The Kiss, which many would say was too short, I find it was just the right kind of kiss, plus William reminds I think many of us that he is "Shy" Di's son. I wish to say that I would not want a make out kiss for the whole public to see, especially if I was royalty. So, no matter what anyone says, I LIKED those kisses (for they kissed twice).

I pray for a happy marriage for Kate and William, and now it is Prince Harry that I wonder about because that young man has become even cuter than his brother, who reminded us so much of Diana (but truly Harry does even more so now).

Sunday was Divine Mercy Sunday. I am new to the Church so for me to explain what Divine Mercy is truly, I would guess I would not be whole-heartily correct as I would wish. But, in my opinion Divine Mercy Sunday is a day that we reflect the Mercy that God has given to everyone, that He will never strike us with lighting for being wrong, but the Mercy to keep His arms ever open to us, but it is for us to reach out to Him.

The Gospel reading was as I said in a past entry, my favorite story, of Doubting Thomas. I would like to rewrite the Gospel reading for all to read.

"Thomas, called Didymus, one of the Twelve, was not with them when Jesus came. So the other disciples said to him, "We have seen the Lord." But he said to them, "Unless I see the mark of the nails in his hands and put my finger into the nail marks and put my hand into his side, I will not believe."

Now a week later his disciples were again inside and Thomas was with them. Jesus came, although the doors were locked, and stood in their midst and said, "Peace be with you." Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here and see my hands, and bring your hand and put it into my side, and do not be unbelieving, but believe." Thomas answered and said to him, "My Lord and my God!" Jesus said to him, "Have you come to believe because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed."

Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of (his) disciples that are not written in this book. But these are written that you may (come to) believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through this belief you may have life in his name." (John 20:24-31)

As I learned from the Homily of Fr. Gregory, OP (I keep going to a Mass when he is celebrating, it is quite nice really) and said this Gospel gives us the "Beatitude of Faith" as Pope Benedict XVI as considered, for "Have you come to believe because you have seen m? Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed". Fr. Gregory also included in his homily Divine Mercy by saying, "It is by His Grace we are strengthen in our Faith by His Love and His Mercy". At the end of his homily he said my favorite quote as of yet from his young Dominican priest, "Numbered as one of those blessed to believe".

Divine Mercy Sunday was also a SPECIAL day in another regard it was the Beatification of Pope John Paul II. This all happened around 4am and because of the event of what happened with the wedding I felt that I could just get up and watch it at 4am, but I overslept go figured and so I was unable to see it, but I must say how great it is to say BLESSED John Paul II (or the Great as JR, Camille, and I have call this great servant of God).

To celebrate this, the 20s Group I am part of we went to Buca's (we did not know any Polish places around Columbus, so we did the next best thing, they have a POPE room :P). It was great, except it was so difficult for me a little bit because I never grew up with Pope John Paul II, for I came into the Church just two years ago and so I am in my own right a Benedict XVI generation and so when it came time for me to talk about my favorite memory of JPII, I explained that because I did not grow up with him, I did not have a favorite memory, but I have a favorite picture of the Blessed that I have always kept in my mind, it was when he was in Canada and he visited a Native American Reservation and the picture is of him coming out of a tepee wearing vestments made of doe-skin and his arms are outstretch and it was that picture that made me say "I love this man, how he is able to embrace a people and so how the Church is universal". I wish one day to own that picture and frame it and put it in my room one day.

Monday (Sunday night for United States) was a day that has bought my Faith and my American Pride to the test. I was told Sunday night that I was working that Osama Bin Laden was killed, I rejoiced for this was the man who plotted a day that was not forgotten and his reign killed many innocent lives all over the world, not just on 9-11. But, many have said that a Christian should not feel rejoice for a man who was killed, but I guess I have to explain something to myself and others about my opinion on this.

Bin Laden, was an EVIL man, he was not fighting for his faith or country, he was killing for power and fear, remind you of a few people, like Mussolini and Hitler. We have to think that Mercy was given to this sinful man even at the time of his death, and I think it was, but I truly believe that just like Hitler never believed he had done wrong and I believed smacked the hand of Mercy, Hitler killed himself, Bin Laden was killed during the mission, he knew he would be killed.

Do I like to know a man was killed, no, but I cannot imagine him living long once capture either. It is hard to explain this, but know this I am joyful that an evil man is gone and those were killed by the plots of Bin Laden are at rest truly and their families can rest at ease that that man will not be hurting innocent life anymore.

That was the events of this week. God Bless America, and the World for a man is gone and a man is Blessed.

God Bless,
Nikita

Thursday Octave of Easter and More

I went to Saint Patrick’s earlier than I was thinking I was going to, but that was because I stayed near the bus-stop that I needed to be at. When I finally settled in the normal spot I sit for almost all Masses, I began to think a lot and wrote in what I consider my all-around Catholic journal. I thought a lot about how sometimes I am a little too honest and it can bother people that I am honest especially dealing with modesty, because being a plus-size woman I do not like revealing everything to the public and I do not believe any body type should, but that is my opinion and I am not going to get into that because I wish not sound like a nagging woman, which I know I can be a lot if given the chance on certain things.

But, I also thought about the depression (I have post-traumatic stress) and how it affects me especially lately. I wish to talk to Camille and my spiritual director because you see I have gone to therapy and it has never worked really and not because I try it is because they treat you really like a group case really, and you not different from others, and they honestly put you on some type of meds really quickly thinking it will help (should tell everyone it never did for me). As I thought upon that I am constantly reminded of what Jesus endured on Good Friday and every time I think of that I honestly start to think I can pull through because I cannot hold on to this self-pity crap when the Lord when through so much for ME and for others.  So, I must keep up with the prayers and examine really myself more, but please if anyone would please pray for me through this for I need it.

Today the celebrate of Mass was Fr. Gregory, I am finding he hits a cord for me with almost every homily he has given in the past time he has been at the parish, and he is a newly ordained priest, I hope that his homilies never cease to hit the cord. One of my favorite quotes was: “You do not need faith to believe Jesus was man, and you do not need faith to believe Jesus was God, but you do need faith that Jesus is both God and Man.” Something that has always I think bothered the minds of all Christians, but if they see through the eyes of faith, they see, even if they cannot fully give a manual of what is going on, they know the Truth. Jesus is Man and God and He never was just Man and He was never just God either, He is both and is the Christ.

One my other favorite quotes were, when he opened their minds to ‘Understand Christ’ through Scripture it meant “Understanding Christ is where Christ is on every page”. He fulfilled all that was prophesizes and said of the Christ, so it reminded me of what my Daddy said to me when I said I was becoming Catholic and though he is not Catholic he told me, “Read the New Testament and then the Old Testament for then you will see the fulfillment of Christ.”

After Mass I stayed after to recite the Rosary which is always done after Mass at Saint Patrick’s. There are two older parishioners who I pray for, especially the elderly lady for I fear she has many health issues and they recite the Rosary all the time. It was nice for once reciting the Rosary with a community and not alone like I have been doing, even if I like when I am alone.  Once we finished reciting the Rosary and the prayers that the parishioners add at the end the two elderly parishioners thanked me for staying for the Rosary, I told them thank you for reciting the Rosary. The Rosary is a powerful tool in prayer; it is literally a mediation of the Life of Jesus through the eyes of His Mother. I have always like the Rosary and found that it really helped with my understanding of Jesus’ ministry and even more how much suffering He went through and how much His Mother went through and how she was to become our Spiritual Mother, which I am every grateful for really.

I left Saint Patrick’s and went back towards OSU Main Campus to meet up with JR, while I waited for JR I had some lunch and really hated my computer at the time, it is getting old and I feel it is coming time to get a new one, which I am thinking looking at renting from Rent-A-Center or something, I know there is interest, but I mean if I plan say $50 a week or something, I do not think it would kill me so much, it doesn’t help that I am thinking of getting another job, I mean so I do not know. Just need to start pulling things off of here so they are with me and not lost forever you know.

Around 3pm finally JR and I met up and we started off to go pick up Camille for tonight was 20s Group. Once we picked up Camille we went towards Polaris and we first went to Kroger and then after not much of twisting arms we ventured down to Lane Byrant, which is my favorite store because I can actually find things in my size and though it is pricey I can buy a few things at a time and then wait for clearance, literally sometime I can get out of there with four outfits for under $100.

At Lane Byrant I found a lot of new things that I would love to have, sometimes I wish I had the ability to just advance paychecks or something so I can buy as much as I want, but oh well cannot have everything, right? Out of it all I got technically four outfits (because you can switch the shirts and pants) and thanks to Camille she bought one of the shirts, which I am every thankful for. The one thing Camille is trying to literally to get me to do is to expand on my colors, for live for black and do not go for anything else, so she literally got me to look at other colors I could not look at black at all. It was difficult because I just never think colors work for me, but in the end she won out I got a new green shirt and a dark sky blue shirt and two pairs of crops. One of the things I told her next to do is to get my hair re-layered and trimmed, and soon I have not gotten it cut in over two years, I like the length I just want it changed a little, no color added to though, I hate thinking of dying my hair.

I think the best part of Lane Byrant was they started up that if you buy $50 worth of stuff then you get a $25 off a $50 purchase coupon for a future date, I got two, almost three really. I think if I talk to Camille and JR I could go to Lane Byrant next week and get $50 again of clothing or something and get another coupon.

We left Lane Byrant to go to Red Lobster (even if I am not able to eat seafood, they at least have chicken and steak). We did a good job not to kill our budget because I know I hate doing that, I thank Camille for paying for most of the dinner that night, and I owe her.

20s Group started with Holy Hour at 7pm, which was wonderful, moments to stay calm and just speak to the Lord in silence, which I think soon parishioners who are not part of 20s Group will come to Holy Hour and that in turn I believe is great and amazing and all are welcome to join us for Holy Hour. That is my opinion and that might bring more who are in their twenties (or late teens and early thirties) to want to come to the actually part of the meeting.

This Thursday was Gospel Study and it was for the Gospel Reading for this coming Sunday, which is Divine Sunday and the beautification of Venerable John Paul II. This reading is one of MY FAVORITES. It is about Doubting Thomas; I can identify with Thomas so much because he did not believe unless he saw and so many including myself at one or have always never believed in anything unless we saw it with our own two eyes no matter what. Doubting Thomas is that relating to others who do not believe that Jesus has risen.

After 20s Group the trio as I call JR, Camille, and I discussed this reading because we were not in the same groups (they were in the same group, I was sent to the other) and I said, “Camille you know this is my favorite story.” And she replied, “That was what I was thinking because it was one of the stories that really helped you during your conversion.” It is true, I went to an Adult Bible Study at Camille’s home parish and that was one of the stories that were discussed and out all of them that was my favorite.

Well, that is all from Thursday, sorry if it was short and not very in detail like I normally write, but maybe next time.
